Finally, after following David Hayter for years hoping he would comment on the parody, they have finally succeeded.
Note how quickly they are to get up and spread their arms to receive applause as if they were heroes who have just accomplished something actually worthwhile.
This is why they do what they do. Not art. Not enjoyment. Sucking up to audiences to receive immediate gratification.

I am going to agree with you on how quickly they receieve the applause, but hey I would do the same exact thing. It would be always nice to have an exhibit room filled with people cheering for you and not only that, but having voice-acting crew from MGS4 to watch your movies. I'd say that if David Hayter looked more into Egoraptor's work he might make some referral to other company's going hey look at this guys voice range and professional companies might ask him to audition for roles.

It's cool. Yeah, they were practically asking for applause (and basically arrived to receive praise from David Hayter- "WE CREATED METAL GEAR AWESOME! PLEASE RECOGNIZE US! PLEASE!"), but it's not that big a deal.
